is currently working with a client that is meeting the needs of children and families by offering a continuum of services as an alternative to the nations fragmented and overburdened child and family care systems.
The services offered are unique to the Northern Virginia region, which enables our client to deliver the right care at the right time to children and families in need of urgent care.
We are searching for a Clinical Supervisor with licensure to provide counseling services and ability to work to adolescents and families in a counseling setting.
This position is responsible for facilitating therapy sessions and treatment plans and overseeing other clinicians.
Clinical Supervisor
Responsibilities:
Facilitate the development of Individual Treatment Plans (ITP) for each assigned resident by completing the required Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) Unaccompanied Alien Child (UAC) Assessment and Assessment for Risks within 72 hours of UAC (Unaccompanied Child) arrival.
Provide input associated with the counseling component of the program to the Case Managers through inputting Case Review information in the UAC Portal every 30 days for each UAC in case load.
Assess for trafficking concerns and be ready to refer qualified UACs to the Office of Trafficking in Persons (OTIP) Division of ORR.
Review and facilitate daily group therapy and various topical groups through the Counseling program.
Facilitate, in collaboration with the lead therapist and House Coordinator, daily staffing's prior to the residents returning home from school.
Demonstrate a proactive approach in your clinical support on an on-going basis to the residential and education component team members.
Be available for on-call mental health crises for assigned cases and the program at large.
Participate as an active member of the routine federal staffing.
Work with Case Managers to make recommendations for the appropriate transition.
Provide Case Managers with any necessary mental health input for reunification/transition of client.
Interview potential placements (as needed).
Provide weekly supervision meetings to assigned therapists.
Be available to provide guidance to subordinates in regards to cases, diagnosis, and safety planning.
Manage Paycom by reviewing and approving time off requests to assure there is proper clinical coverage to the client(s).
Assign clients/cases to therapists as Placement Approvals are received, ensuring caseloads remain evenly distributed and manageable.
Oversee Clinicians regarding file management, appropriate documentation, communication, and regulatory compliance.
Review ORR File documentation for completion, accuracy, and quality standards.
Supervision:
As it is expected, this position will have a reduced case load, the expectation of the case load as it exists will be as follows:
Facilitate the development of Individual Treatment Plans (ITP) for each assigned resident.
Support individual therapy for residents as needed.
Assess and diagnose individuals as necessary as an LMHP.
Organize and implement family and/or group therapy as needed or requested by the FFS.
This may involve weekend or evening work.
Facilitate weekly group therapy and various topical groups through the Counseling program.
Demonstrate a proactive approach in your clinical support on an on-going basis to the residential, case management and education component team members.
As a clinician, be accessible via phone for consultation on mental health issues surrounding your clients or other residents if needed.
Participate as Facilitator and an active member of the Evaluation Team.
Communicate team review with necessary individuals in residents treatment team.
Facility Intake and Contact Forms to the PO by the 7th at 2 PM HHS Clinical Numbers by due date set by the VP of Programs (Separate reports for Shelter, LTFC, IFC, ORR-RTC) LMHPs are expected to provide board approved social work or counseling supervision to those going for licensure for no remuneration.
If a board-approved supervisor is needed, one will be provided by YFT if the individual is on our staff and the respective board approves.
Attend all trainings mandated by YFT and ORR, or other agencies as defined by the Program.
All duties and responsibilities will support meeting the structured program of care outlined in DBHDS and DSS state standards (DBHDS:
12VAC 35-46-800; DSS:
22 VAC 40-151-720) and under the guidance of the Federal Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR).
Other duties as assigned by the CEO, VP of Programs or supervisor.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
