TempMee TempMee Bristow, VA Bristow, VA Full-time Full-time $21 - $26 an hour $21 - $26 an hour 20 hours ago 20 hours ago 20 hours ago Duties - Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner - Register new patients and update existing patient information in the system - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members - Verify insurance information and assist with insurance claims processing - Collect payments and provide receipts to patients - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area Requirements - Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent or in a similar role preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology and experience working in a medical or dental office setting - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and guidelines for patient privacy - Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems such as eClinicalWorks, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion - Experience with phone systems and handling high call volumes - Proficient in administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping Note:
